Mario Kart World is HERE!
We are SO EXCITED to announce our very first, 100% online tournament in Mario Kart World! This is 100% free to play, so hop in and have a chaotic fun evening with our community! All you need to compete is a Nintendo Switch 2 with Nintendo Switch Online, a copy of Mario Kart World, and an internet connection! We'll organize the event through our Discord server (link to join at bottom of this page). And of course, our Stream Team will join us and broadcast the event LIVE on Twitch!

Round 1: Pool Play – Up to 12 players per lobby (evenly divided, minimum player count per lobby is 6)

24 races – all courses valid including transition courses

Course repicks disallowed – however – transition courses that end at previously picked courses are allowed. Random selections always valid

Round 2: Knockout Tour / Bonus Round

All players divided evenly into lobbies using standard snake seeding based on round 1 scores, minimum player count per lobby is 12

1 tour per lobby – all knockout tour routes are valid

Players are awarded a percentage score bonus added to their Round 1 scores based on placement in Knockout Tour per the following chart:

Repick Penalty: repicking a track will result in a 10pt penalty. You are allowed to pick a transition course that ends at a previously-played course. You are allowed to pick a transition course that starts at a previously-played course. Repicks that are the result of choosing "random" will not result in a penalty.
If need be, a third round will be played - this will only happen if a very large number of players compete. In this case, we will announce rule changes.
